Kia ora everyone,
I just have to tell you how hard the children are working. We are seeing some really grown up maths going on in class at the moment. Awesome fractions, timestables and division! Keep up the hard work at home too. It's fantastic. Today we started some buddy writing using a patterned fairytale and the children were having a great time sharing ideas and compromising on which ideas to use. (a very important life skill to be getting good at, at such a young age!)
We had some great ideas about what a sunsmart school should look, sound and feel like. Keep up your sun safety friends.
We are really hopeful that athletics will be on tomorrow. We also have a special visit tomorrow afternoon. There was an e.mail about it this afternoon parents.
Today our special person Magnus got some lovely comments. Room 10 said he is " cool and friendly, kind, includes anyone who doesn't have someone to play in games, creative, really clever at doing poetry recitals and speeches, always wants to do the right thing, is proud of himself, a wonderful role model, splendid!" What a guy.
Remember aquagym is next week and you need to meet us everyday at 8.40 outside REDCLIFFS SCHOOL to catch the bus to Aquagym.
We hope to see you tomorrow if the weather is good. Have fun.
Love Mrs Mac and Mrs Rogers
