Good morning our precious friends,
Mrs Rogers has already gone for a morning walk and I have been out playing with my boys. These photos are right outside my house and down our lane about 50metres is a big park. I can't wait to see your photos. Maybe you could ask Mum or Dad if you could go out and take some crazy awesome snow photos and we could put them with snow poems when we get back to school? That would be a great job for today.
The little guy looking grumpy most of the time is my little Joe who is 2. The middle sized one is Luca, he's 7 like lots of you and the big guy is Max who's 11! There's also some of the neighbours and one of Miss Catton's children. I hope we all see each other tomorrow.
What a crazy year it's been.
Lots of love
Mrs Mac and Mrs Rogers
If you're practising your cinquains remember
line 1: one word (title) snow
line 2: two words (describe it) icy wet
line 3: three words (verbs doing words, end with ing, eg freezing, floating, playing)
line 4: four words (how you feel about it) awesome to play in
line 5: one word (another word for title) winter
If you want to e.mail me your photos or poems that'd be cool! We can share them tomorrow and put some on our blog. Home e.mail mcboon@xtra.co.nz or school rose.mcinerney@redcliffs.school.nz
